A new Betfred customer has claimed £11.5 million from a single £1.50 spin on Mega Moolah, marking the biggest payout in the operator’s 58-year history. The win came just after the player signed up and tried the casino for the first time.

The company confirmed this is the highest jackpot it has ever paid out in nearly six decades of operation.
Betfred founder Fred Done personally reached out to the winner to congratulate him and extend an invitation to Old Trafford.

“It’s Still Sinking In”
The jackpot winner, still processing the result, shared his reaction and future plans:
“It’s still sinking in, but it was class of Fred to phone me. He told me to look after my cash and that is my plan. I’m looking forward to meeting Fred at a Manchester United home game. Hopefully, we will both celebrate if the reds win!”
He also reflected on his background as a racing bettor:
“I’ve been a horse-racing punter my whole life and hit the cross bar a few times with some of my accas but obviously never hit the jackpot like this. It was the missus idea that we gave the casino a go and we certainly got lucky! I love racing so I will still have a bet on the horses, but it will still be my normal small stakes.”
